Keep your jewelry looking its best
A few simple habits help preserve shine and finish for longer.
- Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray, cleaning products, and other chemicals.
- Put jewelry on after cosmetics have dried.
- Wipe pieces gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth after wearing.
- Store each piece separately in a dry pouch or lined box to reduce scratching and tangling.
- Do not use abrasive cloths or strong cleaners unless the product instructions specifically allow them.
Stainless steel and zircon pieces
Use a soft cloth for routine cleaning. If deeper cleaning is appropriate for the item, use a lightly dampened soft cloth and dry the piece completely afterward.
Sterling silver
Natural tarnishing can occur over time. Store silver in a dry, closed pouch and use a polishing cloth intended for sterling silver, avoiding stones and plated details where appropriate.
